The AutoCAD Fundamentals training course covers essential and core topics for working with AutoCAD software. You will learn about key tools in AutoCAD that enable you to create and edit simple drawings. Throughout the class, more advanced functionality will be introduced and basic tools will be developed upon.

Prerequisites:
Those attending will require a basic knowledge of design/drafting procedures and terminology. Experience with the Windows operating system is also needed.
Certification
Once attendees complete a course evaluation, an Autodesk certificate of completion is issued. You must complete the evaluation within thirty days of the course to receive the certification.
Duration: 2 days
This AutoCAD Advanced training course builds upon the topics covered in the AutoCAD Fundamentals class. The training introduces sophisticated techniques to help you identify the most efficient tools and create custom solutions for your workflow. You will go beyond the basics to master defining dynamic blocks, managing CAD systems, utilising automation tools, and customising the user interface for enhanced productivity.

- Advanced text objects
- Working with tables
- Defining dynamic blocks and attributes
- Outputting and publishing files for review
- Collaboration and automation tools
- Creating, publishing, and customising sheet sets
- Managing layers
- CAD management and system setup
- Enhancing productivity by customising the AutoCAD interface
- Using macros and custom routines
Prerequisites:
Those attending will require a level of AutoCAD competency equal to that of the AutoCAD Fundamentals course.
Certification
Once attendees complete a course evaluation, an Autodesk certificate of completion is issued. You must complete the evaluation within thirty days of the course to receive the certification.
Duration: 3 days
This training course equips you with the skills to confidently create and edit electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical's extensive IEC symbol library.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding project files
- Creating and editing schematic (ladder logic and point-to-point) and panel drawings, and PLC/I/O circuits
- Automated commands for symbol insertion, component tagging, wire numbering, and drawing modification
- Working with PLC symbols, custom symbols, circuits and databases
- Title block linking
- Reporting tools
- Templates and project files
Prerequisites:
Attendees will need experience with AutoCAD software and a basic understanding of electrical terminology.
Certification
Once attendees complete a course evaluation, an Autodesk certificate of completion is issued. You must complete the evaluation within thirty days of the course to receive the certification.
