Processing markups with MarkupX Pro

When selecting a markup in the Navigator, it instantly zooms and displays the markup in your AutoCAD or Revit session, which you can then process. Addressing markups is essentially a simple five-step process with MarkupX Pro:

• Step 1: Start MarkupX Navigator

• Step 2: Load a PDF, which will load all the issues into the Navigator Panel.

• Step 3: Select an issue from the list view, which will load the sheet/layout, zoom in, and display the markup.

• Step 4: Double-click on an issue to enter edit mode, where you can review the issue details, create comments, and edit statuses.

• Step 5: Make all necessary changes and mark the issue as completed, which will then automatically take you to the next issue.

Place Revit Families from a PDF with MarkupX Pro

Not only does the tool offer exceptional markup and issue control, but within the Revit environment, MarkupX Pro also facilitates Revit family content placement, allowing PDF users to reference Revit elements on a PDF.

It does require a bit of setup to ensure that in Bluebeam, you align your markup for the Revit family content. However, from the point of linking and accelerating the design process, it is a relatively straightforward task!

• Step 1: The process is very similar to processing issues and markups, with the difference being that in the MarkupX Navigator panel, there is an option to filter out markups to show only family placement issues.
