Autodesk Account: managing auto-renew
Autodesk’s auto-renew feature is automatically turned on for most Autodesk product subscriptions, with some exceptions. This is always turned on again after you execute a renewal. If you do not want to renew an active subscription, you must turn off auto-renew prior to the subscription end date. If you do turn off auto-renew, the subscription will continue to be active until the expiry date and you can choose to renew or not renew at any time during this period.

Turn off auto-renew
- Sign in to your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com
- Click on Billing and Orders > Subscription and Contracts, and select the product to open the subscription details
- Scroll down to Renewal Details and click Turn Off on the Auto-Renew setting
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the change
Turn on auto-renew
Your recurring payment method must be valid and auto-renew turned on for the successful renewal of your products.
- Sign in to your Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com
- Select the product you want to turn auto-renew off for from the subscription list, and make sure the payment method is up to date
- Select Turn Auto-renew On to ensure automatic renewal processes on the renewal date
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the change

If auto renew is turned on your subscription will renew as is and you will be sent an automatically generated invoice from the system. There will be no opportunity to change your subscription details (either add or subtract licences) and you will not have an option to add any details to the invoice such as a PO number.
If your subscription renews with auto-renew enabled and you need to make changes, the entire renewal order must be cancelled and credited before any updates can be made. This process can take some time and may cause disruptions to your service. Please note, cancellations can only be processed within a 30-day window of the quote acceptance date.
If auto renew is turned off, you will have to actively renew the subscription via a quote sent out to you by your reseller. You can work with your reseller to alter your subscriptions to meet your needs.
